It seems like Dragon Age: The Veilguard might have seen its last significant update, according to the most recent patch notes. EA recently announced that the game has hit 1.5 million players. However, this is only half of what they had hoped for. As a result, they’ve decided to cease post-launch support just three months after release.

Bioware introduced the Dragon Age: The Veilguard update 5 patch notes by mentioning that, moving forward, they will only be keeping an eye on the game for any critical bugs and issues. This announcement has led many to speculate that this might be the final major update.
"We were thrilled with the game’s performance at launch and we hope you’ve appreciated the Quality of Life updates we’ve released since," read the patch notes. "With the game now stable, we’ll focus on monitoring for any major issues that might pop up."
Although Bioware hasn’t explicitly confirmed this is the last update, it certainly seems like it could be.

Quality of Life Changes:
- We’ve added recommended levels to side quests that players might encounter while at significantly lower levels.
Bug Fixes:
- Resolved an issue where Rook could flirt with Lucanis only during a particular conversation.
- Addressed a trigger issue in ‘Regrets of The Dread Wolf’ quest that either didn’t activate or halted Rook with an invisible barrier in the Crossroads.
- Fixed a problematic puzzle in Converged City, also located in the Crossroads area.
- Corrected ‘Imperium’s Resolve’ armor, which was dealing negative damage when it should have zero damage against fire, cold, necrotic, and electric attacks.
- Fixed excessive clipping on Taash’s ‘Rivain’s Legacy’ armor.
- Enabled some Rooks to alter the runes on their lyrium dagger.
- Corrected the Medium Armor Mastery skill functioning for Warriors.
- Fixed an issue where Rook would get stuck in a drowning sequence on Rivain’s beach, unable to be rescued by companions.
- Fixed a typo on a note that Rook can discover in Dock Town.
- Enhanced the quality of photo mode screenshots with HDR settings on.
- Removed the photo mode screenshot location indicator from appearing on the screen.
- Fixed an issue where fireflies would unnaturally flicker in the opening area of Crossroads on certain settings.
- Improved lighting in a specific conversation involving the team in the Lighthouse area.
- Resolved a problem in the Mirror of Transformation that interfered with zoom functions using the mouse scroll wheel.
- Adjusted the Objective Marker Visibility to align with changes made in the Exploration preset and sub-category options.
