Last week, the Early Access crime game, Schedule 1, absolutely took Steam by storm, emerging as the top game on the platform. It hit the digital shelves on March 24th and didn’t waste any time in climbing to the number one position. Developed by TVGS, the game is slated to remain in Early Access for the next couple of years, creating quite a buzz as it outperformed even Valve’s popular Counter-Strike 2, pushing it to second place in the rankings.
Another game making waves was Inzoi, a new contender in the life simulation genre often compared to The Sims. This newcomer managed to secure the third spot, marking what appears to be a promising launch for Krafton’s latest venture. Meanwhile, the spooky cooperative horror game REPO slipped slightly to fourth place but held its ground better than The First Berserker: Khazan. This action RPG, set in the ever-popular Dungeon Fighter Online universe by Neople, made a notable entry into the competitive scene, holding the fifth position.
On the hardware side, Valve’s Steam Deck experienced a minor dip, landing in sixth place. Similarly, Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Shadows faced a tougher second week, dropping five places to seventh. Then there’s Split Fiction, a product of collaboration between Hazelight and Electronic Arts, which saw itself fall four spots to eighth.
Capcom’s Monster Hunter Wilds also saw a bit of a decline, moving down three spots to secure the ninth position. Not to be overlooked, Apex Legends made a strong comeback to complete the top ten list.
