A creative Pokemon fan has brought a fresh twist to the Eevee evolution line by envisioning a Ghost-type variant, aptly named Anubeon, infused with an Egyptian theme. This imaginative endeavor highlights the impressive creativity within the Pokemon community as fans continue to explore new possibilities for their favorite pocket monsters.
Eevee, a beloved creature first appearing in the original Pokemon games, is renowned for its versatility and charm. Over the years, it has evolved into eight different types, setting it apart from its Pokemon peers. However, despite its popularity, no new Eevee evolution has emerged since the reveal of the Fairy-type Sylveon in 2013, making it a full decade without fresh additions.
A dedicated artist, going by the username Patient-Ambition9826, recently shared their latest concept that has caught the attention of fans—a Ghost-type Eeveelution named Anubeon. This fan-generated Pokemon adopts elements of Egyptian mythology, resembling a sleek, feline creature with features reminiscent of the deity Anubis. It sports striking yellow eyes, dark blue skin, and a tail shaped like an ankh. The artist even designed a shiny version, swapping the head’s color to dark blue and the body to grey. This innovative creator also plans to design a Ground-type Eeveelution, drawing inspiration from the same cultural theme.
The allure of Eeveelutions extends deeply into fan art communities, with Ghost-type versions enjoying particular popularity. Not long ago, another artist delighted fans with Mischeveon, a genie-inspired design featuring a purple, cat-like body adorned in enchanting attire.
Many Ghost-type Eeveelutions reflect spectral inspirations, such as Halluceon, a chilling yet fascinating fan creation. Sporting a skeletal appearance with a skull helmet and elongated ears, this eerie version paints a more intimidating picture.
Adding to the mix, another fan artist previously conceptualized Ghouleon—a charming Ghost-type Eeveelution possessing feline attributes and a smoky, ethereal tail. Its combination of white, grey, and blue fur, along with its piercing eyes and whiskers, captivated the community, showcasing the boundless potential for creativity.
