If you’re itching to dive back into Call of Duty: Black Ops, you’re in luck! The game is now available on the Xbox PC store. For those eager to tackle the Call of Duty: Black Ops achievements all over again, now you can grab the Windows version of this iconic first-person shooter straight from the Microsoft Store.
Activision is rolling out Call of Duty: Black Ops for Windows PC, marking the latest addition in CoD’s journey to PC availability. Priced at $39.99 in the U.S., £34.99 in the UK, and €39.99 in Europe, this version offers a fresh set of achievements to conquer. There’s buzz that these PC releases could be Microsoft’s way of gradually introducing classic Call of Duty titles to Game Pass.
Recently, Activision has been busy bringing older Call of Duty favorites to the Microsoft Store for PC users. We’ve already seen titles like Call of Duty + United Offensive, Call of Duty 2, Modern Warfare 2 and 3, Black Ops II, Ghosts, WWII, Advanced Warfare, and Black Ops III make the jump to Windows. Now, 2010’s Call of Duty: Black Ops joins the lineup. It’s available for $39.99, £34.99, or €39.99, and comes with its own set of achievements, perfect for those looking to boost their Gamerscore. While we’ve tracked new achievements that include the Annihilation Map Pack and Rezurrection Map Pack, it appears these DLC packs aren’t for sale just yet.
However, just like the other CoD ports, don’t expect cross-platform multiplayer with this version.
With Black Ops landing on the Microsoft Store, discussions have heated up about the potential arrival of classic Call of Duty titles on Xbox Game Pass. Microsoft’s acquisition has seen a gradual inclusion of Activision games into Game Pass, but we’re still waiting for the older CoD games to arrive. Rumor has it that Modern Warfare 2 from 2009 might be headed to Game Pass soon.
