With the Unovan chill winding down, Pokémon Go fans should gear up for an exciting start to summer. This year’s Pokémon Go Fest is set for June, offering a mix of in-person and global events that players won’t want to miss.
Kicking off the festivities, you’ll find live events in Osaka, Japan from May 29 – June 1, Jersey City, NJ taking its turn from June 6 – 8, and the lovely Paris, France wrapped up from June 13 – 15. Mark your calendars for the grand finale with a worldwide event on June 28 and 29. Tickets for these real-world gatherings are now up for grabs, and there’s also a global event ticket priced at $15. This global ticket is your gateway to some exclusive in-game content, including a special encounter with the elusive Mythical Pokémon, Volcanion. But that’s not all—the event’s stars will be the “crowned” legends from Sword and Shield: Zacian and Zamazenta, available for everyone taking part.
If you snag your global ticket by April 15 and make sure to log in between April 8 – 15, you’ll unlock a special research story. This storyline will give you a chance to encounter Skiddo, a Pokémon that has been a rare sight, previously appearing only at the “City Safari” events hosted in select cities since late 2023. Whether you’re catching ‘em all in person or from the comfort of your home, this year’s Pokémon Go Fest promises to be another unforgettable adventure.
