At the "Japan IT Spring Week," Minisforum proudly displayed its upcoming roster featuring the robust AMD Ryzen CPUs. This includes Mobile on Desktop (MoTD) motherboards, compact yet powerful Mini PCs, and versatile NAS systems.

Kicking off with the Minisforum F1FGM, this motherboard continues the MoTD series, embracing the latest processing power. Designed in an mATX form factor, it boasts efficient heatsinks spread across the VRMs, M.2 slots, PCH, and even includes an IO cover. It stands as the successor to the esteemed BD770i and BD790i series, transitioning smoothly to the Dragon Range "Ryzen 7000HX" CPUs. Now, it leverages the cutting-edge Fire Range "Ryzen 9000HX" series powerhouses.

Configurable up to the AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX CPU, this board impresses with its 16 cores and 32 threads derived from the Zen 5 core architecture, reaching boost clocks up to 5.4 GHz. It also comes packed with 64 MB of L3 cache. Although rated at 55W by default, this ‘mobile’ yet desktop-grade powerhouse can be pushed to 160W on this motherboard, catering to high-end performance enthusiasts.

Users can also select from other CPU options, including an "X3D" variant, and enjoy efficient cooling thanks to a cooler mounted over a vapor chamber baseplate, given the absence of an IHS in mobile CPUs. The motherboard embraces a 13-Phase Duet rail design with 60A SPS power stages.

Diverging from the MoTD, this Mini PC’s motherboard houses two SO-DIMM slots accommodating up to 96 GB of memory with 5200 MT/s speeds. It showcases versatile IO options: dual USB 3.2 Gen Type-C, dual USB 3.2 Gen 2, a USB 2.0 port, two 10 GbE LAN ports, Wi-Fi 6E, Bluetooth 5.0, and both DP and HDMI outputs.

Lastly, the N5 PRO NAS strides in with Strix power, packing an AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 CPU featuring 12 cores, 24 threads, and a Radeon 890M integrated GPU. The system accommodates up to 48 GB of DDR5 SO-DIMMs and sports a PCIe 4.0 x4 slot for video interface solutions.
