The roadmap for Diablo IV has just been unveiled, giving us a sneak peek at what’s on the horizon for 2025. Game director Brent Gibson sheds light on the upcoming seasons during the Age of Hatred and more. It’s clear that communication is the backbone of our community, so keep that valuable feedback coming!
Diablo has evolved into what it is today because of you, our players. Sanctuary is as much yours as it is ours. Every piece of feedback, every impassioned discussion, and each moment shared in-game contributes to the passion that propels us to continually enhance our shared gaming experience.
Today, we rolled out the first roadmap for Diablo IV, outlining what’s in store for the coming months. We’re committed to transparency, and we’re thrilled to open up a more profound conversation with you by laying out our future plans.
In the image above, you’ll find a glimpse of the next three seasons for 2025: Belial’s Return, Sins of the Horadrim, and Infernal Chaos. Each season carries its own distinct theme of power. Alongside these thrilling new seasons, we have some substantial, permanent improvements lined up for the base game, which include additions like improved keyboard and mouse support for consoles and more.
We’re also gearing up for two exciting IP collaborations within Diablo IV this year! While I can’t divulge any spoilers just yet, know that we are eager to partner with other beloved universes that echo the dark tones of Diablo.
Plus, we have our second anniversary approaching! While details are still under wraps, we’re eagerly looking forward to celebrating two years of demon-slaying adventures with all of you.
As we look forward to the next big leap, an expansion is on its way for 2026. Additionally, for those who crave competition, Leaderboards will soon make their debut in Diablo IV, offering you the chance to earn recognition for your hard-fought achievements.
Your thoughts about the path forward are critical to us. We are so appreciative of your contributions to Sanctuary, so if anything catches your eye, please share your insights on our forums or social media platforms like X and Instagram. Until then, we’ll see you in the depths of Hell!
Meanwhile, if you’re looking to expand your Diablo IV experience, the Expansion Bundle offers an enticing option: besides the game for Xbox, it includes the Vessel of Hatred™ Standard Edition. This expansion takes you deeper into Sanctuary, adding new classes, regions to explore, and thrilling challenges to conquer.
