Seven games will bid farewell to Xbox Game Pass on Tuesday, April 15. The ever-evolving library of Xbox Game Pass sees regular updates with new titles, but inevitably, some games must make their exit. While new game arrivals can occur almost anytime, removals typically happen on the 15th or the final day of the month.
April 2025 isn’t breaking tradition, as more changes come to Xbox Game Pass. Despite the excitement of new arrivals like South of Midnight and Commandos: Origins, there’s the reality of losing seven beloved titles. These games are scheduled to leave the service on April 15.
As confirmed by Microsoft, these departing titles include Botany Manor, Coral Island, Harold Halibut, Homestead Arcana, Kona, Orcs Must Die! 3, and Turbo Golf Racing. Fortunately for subscribers, these titles are available for purchase at a 20% discount before they leave the service, offering a chance to keep them in your digital collection. Though it’s disappointing to lose these games, there’s a silver lining: initially, eight games were expected to leave, so missing out on one less game than anticipated is a small victory.
Initially, it was incorrectly communicated that Shadow of the Tomb Raider would be exiting Game Pass alongside the seven confirmed titles. It remains unclear when Lara Croft’s adventure will leave, but Game Pass subscribers don’t need to worry about it disappearing on April 15. However, it might be wise to prioritize this thrilling title before it eventually parts ways with the service.
Despite the departures, April 2025 is shaping up to be an exciting month for Game Pass subscribers. New additions include the critically acclaimed Blue Prince on April 10 and the iconic Grand Theft Auto 5 on April 15. They can also look forward to Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 arriving on April 24. With plenty of engaging games to explore, subscribers have a lot to anticipate in the coming weeks.
