SNK has just unveiled a treasure trove of updates on the upcoming Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves. Fans can look forward to the addition of Kain as the eighth playable character, along with details on the season one DLC pass. They also reminded everyone about the open beta happening later this month.
Returning to the spotlight in stunning 3D for the first time, Kain rejoins the roster with his signature suave style as the menacing final boss from Garou: Mark of the Wolves. His debut trailer showcases an impressive array of ranged attacks, intricate combos, and an exciting new super move. You definitely don’t want to miss it!
When it comes to the season 1 DLC pass, players can expect an exciting lineup of characters. Joining the fight are Ken Masters and Chun Li from the iconic Street Fighter series, along with Fatal Fury favorites Andy Bogard, Joe Higashi, and Mr. Big. The rollout begins with Andy and Ken in the summer of 2025, followed by Joe in the fall, Chun Li in the winter, and finally, Mr. Big in early 2026.
And now, for those eagerly waiting to dive into gameplay, the open beta has been rescheduled. Mark your calendars, as it will now run from February 20 to February 24 across PC, Xbox, and the PS4/PS5 platforms. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in ranked matches and even dive into offline training mode, which is always a treat.
