However, a few more titles could really help maintain Xbox Game Pass’s newfound momentum.
Moving forward to February 2025, there’s one game many are hoping to see join the Xbox Game Pass roster: Thank Goodness You’re Here! Despite missing out on accolades at The Game Awards, this game was a hit last year for its quirky humor and seamless blend of gameplay with comedic elements. Created by the Yorkshire-based indie team at Coal Supper, the game lets players navigate as a tiny traveling salesman in a bizarre, colorful northern English town, interacting with its eccentric inhabitants. At present, Xbox lacks this title, but it would be an ideal addition to the Game Pass library.
Another game that stands out is Civilization 6. With the much-anticipated Civilization 7 launching on February 11, adding Civ 6 to Xbox Game Pass could entice new players just before the sequel’s release. Although Civ 7 is poised to introduce fresh elements to its classic formula, Civ 6 remains a strong introduction to the mechanics and features that are a staple of the franchise.
The upcoming release of Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 on February 4 offers another opportunity. This highly authentic action RPG series has cultivated a dedicated fanbase since its initial release in 2018, yet it remains somewhat niche. Introducing the original Kingdom Come: Deliverance on Xbox Game Pass could widen its audience and boost interest and sales for the sequel.
Finally, Elden Ring has been one of the most sought-after games for Xbox Game Pass inclusion. Despite enjoying tremendous popularity since its release, having Elden Ring on Game Pass could expand its reach even more, especially with the anticipation building for the launch of Elden Ring Nightreign in the near future.
With these potential additions, February 2025 could turn out to be a standout month for Xbox Game Pass, keeping gamers engaged and satisfied with a variety of exciting titles.
